Following The Voice results of the previous two weeks, only 10 singers remained heading into Tuesday night’s tense elimination program.
Ten … soon to be nine.
As the competition hits the stretch run here in May of 2016, it’s getting harder and harder to survive, and we haven’t seen nothin’ yet.
After Monday’s always-impressive live performances, the Top 10 contestants on Season 10 of The Voice faced elimination last night.
Results were determined solely by viewers’ votes and iTunes downloads. No help from the coaches, other than to persuade the fans.
Coaches Christina, Pharrell, Adam and Blake could only sit back, watch, sweat, hope, pray and urge their supporters to get this right.
Did they? Let’s break down The Voice results …
Declared SAFE based on America’s votes:
That left Nick Hagelin (Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud”) and Daniel Passino (Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk”) to sing for their lives.
Nick did not exactly knock it out of the park, but he won this one through attrition as Daniel could not get into the funk of that hit track.
When the tweets were tallied, Nick did well enough to move on for at least another week, and was saved by America. Daniel is out.
What did you think of The Voice results? Did America get it right? Are you happy Owen is going home and Daniel is moving on?
Moreover, who do you think will take it all the way to the finals this year and be named The Voice? Whose team stands the best chance?
