Adam Levine probably doesn’t care at the moment if Miley Cyrus hates him.

Because the singer is now totally and completely in love with a brand new human being:

HIS DAUGHTER!

That’s right, Behati Prinsloo has gone ahead and given birth to the couple’s first child.

E! News broke this adorable piece of news, although no other details (such as the baby’s name, height or weight) are available at this time.

[UPDATE: Her name is Dusty Rose Levine.]

The artist and the model confirmed that the latter was pregnant in March. About a month later, it came out that she was expecting a girl.

Back then, numerous sources told Us Weekly that Levine wasn’t just happy about becoming a father.

These insiders said he was “over the moon” about his impending parenthood.

“I’m about to be a dad. I’m super pumped,” Levine himself then said during an appearance on Live With Kelly and Michael in April.

He expressed a similar sentiment to E! News in a subsequent interview, telling Sibley Scoles this spring:

“It’s awesome. I’m going to be a dad. Sh-t, I’m excited. I’m going to be a f-cking dad..

And now he is one!

As you can see above and below, Prinsloo carefully (and beautifully) documented her pregnancy and her growing baby belly for weeks on social media.

She shared fun Instagram imahes of herself in a bikini, in a bubble bath and in a sexy kimono.

Heck, Levine even joined in at times:

How hilarious of a father is he going to be?!?

The couple’s exciting news does have one drawback, however. For residents of Hartford, Connecticut, that is:

Maroon 5 was forced to cancel a concert scheduled for that city on Monday.

“Maroon 5’s show in Hartford was happening in conjunction with the group’s fall 2016 U.S. tour and is being canceled due to the upcoming birth of frontman Adam Levine’s baby,” a statement from the band read.

We’re guessing true fans will understand.

Please join us in congratulating the new parents.

And also the new famous parents in general over the course of 2016.

Good luck with the whole parenthood thing, people. It’s not easy!
