If you’re a football fan, you know this season hasn’t been easy on Aaron Rodgers.

And now it seems the woes of the beloved Green Bay Packers quarterback and discount double check aficionado aren’t limited to the playing field.

Despite his status as one of the NFL’s most celebrated players and his high profile relationship with actress Olivia Munn, Rodgers has mostly succeeded in keeping his private life.

That all changed, however, when his younger brother, Jordan Rodgers, gained fame in his own right.

JoJo Fletcher chose Jordan as the “winner” of the most recent season of The Bachelorette, and the couple has remained a tabloid mainstay in the months since the finale.

Naturally, the media has taken an interest in Jordan’s relationship with his brother, and it seems the reality star doesn’t share Aaron’s love of privacy.

Jordan has been open about the fact that he and his brother have had no contact with one another in recent years.

At first, the feud between Jordan and Aaron was made out to be a simple sibling rivalry.

Now, however, it seems that Aaron’s issues with his family run deeper than originally thought, and a new in-depth profile of Rodgers published by Bleacher Report reveals that the 32-year-old Pro Bowler has completely cut ties with with his parents and siblings.

The report claims that Aaron has had no contact with his immediate family since 2014.

Insiders say he’s made it clear that he has no desire to continue with any sort of relationship with his mother, father and brothers.

“The family was told they were no longer welcome in Green Bay,” the article claims.

“If Dad wants to attend a game now, he buys tickets on StubHub or goes through another player’s family.”

The cause of the rift is unknown, but many have pointed out that Rodgers severed ties with his family right around the time he began dating Munn.

That’s led to speculation that his family disapproved of the relationship, and Rodgers cut them off as a result.

We may never know for sure, but whatever the case, this is clearly no amicable estrangement.

Several media outlets reported this week that Aaron’s family recently attempted to offer an olive branch by sending him Christmas presents – and he returned them unopened.
